In case you are not aware, Network Rail are about to start work on constructing two lifts and a footbridge at Bexley Station.

In order to facilitate these works, the footpath that runs down the side of our backfield into Bexley Village will be diverted through our land with the bottom of the field cleared of vegetation and used as a storage area for various pieces of equipment.

Because of these works, we will be losing approx. 16m along the footpath edge of the field beyond our outdoor nets. This will obviously have an impact on our usage during the summer but we have made contingency plans to reduce the impact as much as possible.

Work is due to start next week and I would urge any members using the backfield to be extra vigilant especially when large plant vehicles are about.
