As you may be aware, I have recently taken over from Sarah Bleksley in managing the BCC tea rota. These are big shoes to fill as Sarah has done a great job making everything run smoothly for the past few years.

Ensuring that teas are prepared and ready for all of our home fixtures each weekend is a big undertaking and one that requires a team effort to fulfill. We take great pride from the fact that many visiting teams comment that Bexley teas are ‘the best in the league’ and this is a reputation that we want to maintain!

To plan for next season, we are holding our tea rota evening at the club on Friday, 7th February at 7pm where we will be allocating volunteers against our fixtures. For those of you that have not been involved in preparing teas before this is a great opportunity to come along and learn more about it. No catering experience is required and full guidance will be given on what is needed from you. Even if you are only able to spare one or two weekends to assist, this will still be hugely appreciated. There will be a free drink on arrival as a thank you for attending and it would be lovely to see as many people there as possible.
